Found a comprehensive list of the activities which are usually part of a project’s finalisation stage.

All documents are filed and are closed correctly
All lessons learnt are captured
Ensure everything has been completed
Update project plan
Monitor defects liability
Issue final certificate
Prepare completion report
Approve completion report
Evaluate against success criteria
conduct post implementation review
Close project office
Check if contractual obligations are fulfilled
Inform stakeholders of project outcomes and close-out condition of the project.
Ensure all assets and liabilities are accounted for and disposed of accordingly
Conduct financial close-out
Ensure that the PM has obtained from the client a formal acceptance that the contract has been fulfilled
Complete individual performance reviews
Ensure all achievements have been highlighted.
Debrief project team members
Advise team of project outcomes
Receive feedback from project team
Prepare handover (finalisation) report
Review project performance
Re-allocate resources
Reward project team
Resolve any outstanding disputes/issues.
Create as-constructed drawings
Customer acceptance and signoff
